Apkoras hosts only Android applications whose licence explicitly permits redistribution — GPL, Apache, MIT, MPL and similar free/open-source licences. We do not host modified, cracked, patched or “MOD” builds of any application, and we do not host proprietary apps.
If we have made a mistake, we want to fix it quickly. This page tells you how.
Our commitments
- Every file we publish is the original binary from the developer’s own release channel, with the developer’s signature intact. We do not repackage, re-sign or modify anything.
- Every listing names the licence under which we redistribute, and links to the upstream source code and the official release page the file came from.
- Every file publishes a SHA-256 checksum so anyone — including the developer — can confirm we are serving exactly what was released.
If you are a rights holder
If you believe content on apkoras.com infringes your copyright, email [YOUR-EMAIL@apkoras.com] with the subject line DMCA Notice.
To let us act quickly, please include:
- Identification of the work you say is infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on apkoras.com you are asking us to remove.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We aim to respond within 48 hours and will remove or disable access to material that is properly the subject of a valid notice.
If you are a developer and simply want your app removed
You do not need to file a formal DMCA notice. Email us from an address associated with the project, or open an issue on your own repository and send us the link. We will remove it, no argument, no questions. We would rather lose a listing than host something its author does not want here.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including your contact details, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error.
Note: this page is a good-faith policy statement, not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Replace the placeholder email above with a real, monitored address before launch, and have a qualified lawyer review this text for your jurisdiction.
